Since 2016, A Girl Named Genny has graced the many bars and living rooms of Rochester, NY. What started as a music hang out amongst friends transformed into a band with three self produced albums, and several extensive tours that have sent the band from coast to coast of the United States. 

Armed with “folk” instruments, A Girl Named Genny has always sought to push the norm of what is expected from an Americana band. Influences draw from jazz-roots music, to bluegrass-folk genres, and even rock and roll. Fiddles solos, vocal harmonies, meaningful lyrics, insanely fast drums, and more are just some of the ingredients of what makes their shows work. 

Now as their approach their 8th year as a band, they are beyond thrilled to release their upcoming third full length album “For All The Seasons” and host a special pre release listening show at the Timber House.
